Hallo, / Hello,

I’m trying to be brave now and offer a digital stamp for you to use. It was very strange, but I wanted to try to make one of a design of mine. It was a watercolor illustration here on my blog. Now I’m very exited to write this post as the digital stamp is ready now. You have to know, that all I’m publishing and doing for my blog is merely a hobby and I have a full life beside all of this. (In real life I’m a historian.) It makes me very nervous to publish this now, but I hope, that I’m doing good doing this and hope, that you, dear readers, like it just a little bit. If you like the digital stamp, you are free to download it, color it (or give it to your kids to color) and use it for whatever you like. I know, you are creative. As a template for this, I used the sketch to the watercolor illustration Rosalie, because I liked the face a little better than in the illustration.

You also have to know, that I tried the digital stamp out first, because I wanted to see if everything works as I thought it would. I printed it out in different sizes and made a divider for my selfmade midori, that holds up very well after years of usage. It has a pocket on the back for notes and bills and stuff.

The smaller print was used to make a card. Both prints were made on sturdier copy paper with a laser printer and colored in with markers. (I’m not great with markers, but used that as a practice session.) For the divider image I made little circles and dots using a black pen and a teal marker to make the background. The background of the card image was left white. I used some dies to cut out a frame of green cardstock for the image and matted both onto yellow cardstock. I also used a vellum piece with a sentiment on it and matted it on the yellow cardstock aswell. For the background of the card I used a piece of green vellum with a foil design on it, both of them I just bought today in a shop called “Action”. (It has cheap craft supplies, but I liked the vellum pads so much, that I bought two – one with sentiments, another with the background patterns.) I used a stapler to add the vellum piece with the sentiment to the matte, because any kind of glue would leave traces. I also used some twine to make a bow and foam tape to glue the matted image to the cardbase. It was a lot of fun using that image and I think, that I’ll use digital stamps more often in the future – not only my own. If you like to join the fun, you can download the picture and make something nice out of it.

Rechtliches:

Legal stuff:

I’m sorry, but I felt, that it just doesn’t work without a few words about that. I give you the image for free, at no cost to you whatsoever. You can download it and use it as you like. You might even use it in your creations and sell them. (Angel Policy) But you might not upload it somewhere as your own or sell the digital stamp or the design. If you publish things using the design, I would be very happy, if you mentioned and linked the blog (selbsterstellt.wordpress.com). Thanks for your fairness!

If you have any questions or wishes considering digital stamps, I will be more than happy to answer them as well as I can. Just leave them in the comments below.
