I tries this kind of wrapping years ago and will wrap some of the present this year in this style also. I’ve got preparations to make, but I wanted to share everything with you.

All I needed for this Christmas wrapping were some newspapers which I used as wrapping paper. But you can use any kind of paper to wrap your gifts. I also needed some twigs from christmas trees, that I got from the woods, some ribbon and oak caps, that I also collected in the woods nearby. The oak caps have to be treated with varnish and knitted some oaks (I used this pattern and idea for that) that I glued inside. Now you only have to wait for the glue to dry and put everything together. I hope you like this idea and give me ideas for other usage of the knitted oaks, as I have mass produced these for the giftwrappings. 🙂

Bis bald! / See you soon!

With this giftwrapping idea I take part at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Christmas Gifts. Well, what else did I show you? 🙂
