Für ein Geschenk brauchte ich eine kleine Verpackung, eine kleine Box 7x7x2,5 cm groß. Boxen sind ja einfach und so habe ich diese gemacht. Und ich wollte es bunt, ein Regenbogen! Letzte Woche hatte der Clearly Besotted Shop wieder eröffnet und so habe ich schnell bestellt. Es sind unheimlich niedliche Stempelsets mit wunderschönem Design und ich habe einiges lange haben wollen. Die Chamäleone sind soooo niedlich und so habe ich sie als erstes ausprobieren wollen und zwar heute!
Koloriert habe ich mit Aquarellfarben und Buntstiften, um die Farbe an einigen Stellen zu intensivieren. Den Hintergrund gestaltete ich mit Stempeln aus dem Set auf Transparenpapier und stanzte ein Hexagon daraus. Hinterlegt habe ich es mit einem Hexagon gleicher Größe aus weißem Papier. Die Box selbst ist aus wunderschönem Blau-Türkis. Mir hat das Basteln heute wirklich viel Spaß gemacht und ich teile allen meinen Spaß gerne mit euch.
I needed a little box to wrap something as a gift, it had to be 7x7x2,5 cm big. Boxes are easy I thought and so I made this one. I also wanted the box to be coloured – a rainbow! Last week one of the best stamp shops reopened and I had ordered some of the stamp sets that I wanted for a long time. You will see some of them later on this blog. What would fit better to make a rainbow than a chameleon? The designs of Clearly Besotted are so cute, that I just had to use one of them for this box.
I coloured the chameleon with watercolors first and used coloured pencils to intensify the colours. For the background I used some of the stamps from the set and used hexagon dies to die cut it after stamping. The background is made of vellum and white cardstock underneath to intensify the colours on the vellum. All in all I like the box very much and hope that the recipient will like it aswell. I also loved to use the new stamp set.
