Sometimes I’m that kind of person who loves to be inspired by random things, it could be ideas, colours, or general concepts of something. Some time ago I watched videos of K. Werner, who is a cardmaker on YouTube. (You probably know her already.) In those videos she made “mail art” and painted and wrote on envelopes. That’s usually the most boring part about mail. But not now!  I love the idea, I love the concept of having wonderful envelopes. Well, I was most inspired by this envelope, I even don’t know why. I kept the idea in the back of my head until now… With my last order I ordered a stamp by Newtons Nook with this adorable cat sitting in a mail box. I love it. It was perfect. It was made for me and my envelopes, I can feel it. I had a test run today, as you can see it. For the next one I will use watercolours instead of watercolour pencils, as I don’t like the marks it left. Otherwise I’m quite satisfied with the envelope. The cat is white because my boyfriend liked it to stay that way. I still used some gray for shadows. To make it waterproof I will use some Distress Micro Glaze before sending it, but I want to address it first. Now I hope that the recipient will like the mail. I certainly would.

Bis bald/ See you soon,

MA.
