So einfach!

The idea to make this card crossed my mind weeks ago. The inspiration came mainly from the show Dr. Who and the episode where a star whale carries London across the universe. I liked the idea of great animals being able to move through space. I had this dies, that cut out a 3/4th circle with a cross stitch decoration around the cutted piece. But if you take the negative, it looks a little like a fish bowl. In this card the fish bowl is no longer one, but a window to a far away galaxy with a whale moving among the stars. To paint the whale I used watercolours and a reference picture that I searched for online. For the front I cut out the window and used some patterned papers on the sides. The german sentiment says: Thinking about you.

I also want to join the Simon Says Stamp Card Challenge: Anything Goes on their blog.

Thanks for reading and: I’m thinking about you.

Liebe Grüße/ take care,

Miss
