Seid kreativ!

During the last days I watched some hauls on YouTube, some of them showed that they bought the same packs of printed vellum from Deco Time as I did (used already here). In every haul the ladies asked how they could use glue on them. Because all of their glue was showing. Well, first of all: Almost every kind of glue shows though vellum. So, what you do to avoid marks is: hide the glue. It helps a lot to use sticky tape or these kind of mice roller thingies with glue. As you can see in the photos, I used a lot of vellum pieces on these two cards. On the first one I hid the glue behind the die cut, that I also have from a pack from Deco Time. The vellum is only glued at the sides, but not completely, so the glue wouldn’t show. I had a lot of foam tape behind the die cut and sandwiched the vellum in between. I also used a printed vellum as a background and put glue only behind the die cut when I glued it to the card base. On the second card I used a stapler to attach the vellum to a white base and used foam tape under the base to glue it to the background. You could use brads as well or other elements – be creative! But be careful with liquid glue, it only works, if you use very little amounts with a precision tip and under subjects that aren’t see through as embossed sentiments and rhinestones.

Here you have a picture I made of the beautiful sky on tuesday night. I made it while I walked the dog in the evening.
