Diesmal war es wirklich schwierig. Es war eine ziemlich hecktische Woche und es gab noch so viel anderes, daß wir das Malen vorerst auf das Wochenende verschoben haben. Dabei bedachten wir gar nicht, daß wir am Wochenende ebenfalls auf Feiern eingeladen waren. Dennoch fanden wir etwas Zeit, weil man immer Zeit für Schönes finden sollte (und es macht uns ja auch Spaß). Die Ideen hatten wir eigentlich die ganze Woche schon besprochen. Man kann mit Glühbirnen offenbar sehr vieles tun! (Ich glaube, daß ich meine zweite Idee als Postkarte umsetzen werde.) Das obere ist das digital erstellte comichafte Bild vom besten Mann der Welt. Das untere ist ein Aquarell in Din A4 geworden, das nun bei uns im Wohnzimmer eingerahmt hängt, gleich über der Katze. Als Referenz für die Spiegelungen etc. verwendete ich dieses Photo, das ich über die Duckduckgo.com Suche fand. Duckduckgo kann ich übrigens wärmstens als Suchmaschine empfehlen, die sammeln nämlich nicht Eure Daten.
This week was hard for us. We had a lot to do and had somehow put the challenge away to do it on the weekend. We had totally forgotten, that we were invited to parties that we had to drive to. Well, we found some time to make the challenge. It’s a lot of fun and I think that we always have to try to find some time for the beautiful and fun things in life. We had spoken about what we could draw all the week and exchanged ideas. There are so many things you can do with a light bulb! (I think I will make a postcard using the other idea I had for this challenge.) Above you see the digital art piece of my fiancé, he chose to make some digital art again and used a comic style for his piece. The watercolor painting I made for this one is a european A4 size and is now hanging on the wall in our living room right above the cat, framed of course. As a reference I used this photo that I found using duckduckgo.com. It’s a search engine, I like to use because it doesn’t collect users data.
