There aren’t always possibilities to hang framed pictures on the wall. Sometimes there are walls, where you can’t put nails in. We have some of this problems in our apartment. We have a chimney going through out living room to the roof. I have decorated all of the walls here, but the chimney was so prominent and without any decoration. So I just couldn’t let it stay that way. I also couldn’t put nails in there. So I found a frame that opens to the front, it’s called Hemmingsbo, you will find it in Ikea for 3,99€ (well, it’s cheap.) I have three of them hanging one under the other and it makes the living room much nicer! I used some assembly line to glue it to the wall and it sticks pretty good for months now. As the frame opens to the front, I can still change the pictures I put in there, so it doesn’t get boring over the years. If anyone has the same problem with walls that you can’t decorate, maybe that is a solution to this problem.
