Ich hatte es ja gestern fast versprochen, daß ein größeres Aquarell fertig wird und dies hier ist es. Für den Oktopus nutzte ich (außer für das Auge) nur die Farbe Indigo aus einem Aquarell Set von Prima Marketing (Decadent Pies) und ich liebe diese Farbe SOOOO sehr. Auch auf Geschirr sieht das einfach wahnsinnig schön aus. In der Tat habe ich Geschirr mit indigo Muster, das meine Mutter mir vor einigen Jahren überließ. 🙂 Für den Hintergrund benutzte ich einen Goldton aus einem Aquarellfarbenset von Kuretake Gansai Tambi “Starry Colors” und in echt glänzt es wunderschön gelbgolden. Das wird mit Sicherheit ein Hingucker bei uns im Wohnzimmer sein. Natürlich hoffe ich, daß er auch euch gut gefällt.

As I have promised you yesterday, I finished the bigger watercolor piece, I was working on. And here it is: the indigo octopus. For the octopus itself I used just the color indigo (except for the eye) from the watercolors palette Decadent Pies by Prima Marketing. This color is soooo beautiful. So the octopus itself is monochromatic. I also love indigo patterns on porcelain. I actually have a set of plates with indigo floral patterns, that my mother gave to me some years ago. 🙂 For the golden circle I used a gold tone from the Kuretake Gansai Tambi “Starry Colors” palette and it shines very beautiful in real life. It’s going to be an eyecatcher in our living room, I am sure. Of course I also do hope, that you like this peace just as much as I do.

Auf dem Photo sieht das das glänzende Gold schon deutlich besser. 🙂
