The season to make Christmas cards has begun for me. I love it to send out many, many cards and Christmas is a reason for me to do that even more. I’ve already have shown one or two Christmas cards, but will start counting them now. There also will be even more Christmas DIYs now.

This card was made together with a fitting envelope. I wanted to make a card without any stamps, so everyone could recreate it if wanted. So I used my watercolors to paint a triangle in green and blue tones. For the envelope I mixed some yellow and violet into the trees. The sentiment came from a stamp set from a German manufacturer called Karten-Kunst, I heat embossed it onto vellum. I also used some die cut snowflakes out of silver foiled paper as a highlight around the sentiment. The dies came from MFT. (If you don’t have a die cutting machine, sticker or other kind of embellishments could be used for that.) The snowflakes make the card a little bit nicer and shinier. It’s nice, if you don’t need a lot of stuff to make a card.

Habt einen kreativen Tag!/ Have a creative day!
