To wrap presents is always something special for me, because the wrapping itself is supposed to make the recipient happy. This time it’s a present for a freshly backed grandmother, who wants to start knitting for the new grandchild. She asked me for patterns, so I chose a book with knitting patterns for babies and toddlers to give her something to start with. I have chosen a book with beautiful patterns, that had great reviews. None of the reviews said, that there were errors in the patterns as this can happen (and I have read it often in the reviews for the other books). A experienced knitter has no problems to correct those errors when they occur, but I didn’t want it to happen to a beginner. If you are interested, this is the book (no affiliate links used). We also got a set of needles with interchangeable cords, that I myself have used for years and love. I use those for everything and got rid of all the other needles I had. My sister will get another set of those from another brand. So many knitting things in one package, I wanted to wrap it properly, so I chose a nice wrapping paper and some left over yarn. I used the yarn to make some pompoms (tutorial here on YouTube) and use them as a decoration. Those look so great on gifts. To make the card more prominent, I used an envelope from vellum for it. I sincerely hope, that you like the idea and it might be an inspiration for some of you, even if the gifts aren’t knit related.

Liebe Grüße, / Best regards,

Miss
